Apply Online! It is Fast, Easy, and Secure.

As of May 1, 2010 the Indiana Secretary of State is only accepting notary applications completed online at the Indiana Secretary of State's website. All you need is the notary bond number that we will email you and the surety or bonding company name “CNA” to complete the application process. Go to https://myweb.in.gov/SOS/notaryapp/ to start the application process online. This is the fastest and easiest way to become an Indiana notary public.

Step 4:

Fax or Email a copy of your Indiana notary commission certificate.

Within 3-7 working days from submitting your notary application to the state, the Indiana Secretary of State will mail you your notary commission certificate. Please email or fax a copy of your notary commission certificate to 1-800-721-2664 or sales@usnotaries.com so we can prepare and ship your supplies.
