All you need is the notary bond number that we will email you and the surety or bonding company name “CNA” to complete the application process. Go to https://myweb.in.gov/SOS/notaryapp/ to start the application process online. This is the fastest and easiest way to become an Indiana notary public.

Within 3-7 working days from submitting your notary application to the state, the Indiana Secretary of State will mail you your notary commission certificate. Please email or fax a copy of your notary commission certificate to 1-800-721-2664 so we can prepare and ship your supplies.
